• Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Eckardt

Elizabeth (Beth) joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in September 2023 as a part-time psychologist.  She is currently conducting psychological assessments for adults with a variety of presenting concerns, including learning disabilities and ADHD.  She is also available for psychodiagnostic assessments and pre-surgical (bariatric, pain neuromodulation devices) evaluations.

Although she grew up in the Midwest, Beth has lived in Auburn since 2005 when she relocated to pursue both her master’s and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Auburn University.  She completed a one-year internship at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida before returning to Auburn to begin her professional career.

Beth worked as the Director of Behavioral Pain Management at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System from 2011 to 2023, providing individual and group psychotherapy to individuals with a variety of medical concerns.  She is a national trainer and consultant for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain within the VA system.  In July 2023, she accepted a fully remote position with the Pittsburg VA, where she has worked with a multidisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive TelePain program for veterans in the Pittsburg area.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, any form of physical activity, and taking in all that Auburn has to offer.
