    Dr. Susan Bourg

    Susan N. Bourg has been working for Clinical Psychologists, P.C. since 1996, first as a graduate clinician, then as a psych tech, and now as a Clinical Psychologist. Susan provides psychological diagnoses and psychotherapy for college students and adults.

    Susan sees people with a wide range of psychological needs, including anxiety, behavioral, developmental, and interpersonal or relationship problems.

    Her specialties are anxiety, depression and traumatic stress. Her research in graduate school was in the area of acquaintance rape, and adult survivors of childhood rape/assault/abuse. She is currently seeing college age, adults and aging adults. 

    Susan began her college career at the University of Georgia, and married and raised three children prior to completing her undergraduate degree at Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Subsequent to completing her B.A. in Psychology, she worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in New Orleans as a Research Technician for several years. She earned her Master’s Degree from Auburn University and attended the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, for an APA-approved internship. She returned to Auburn University to complete her Ph.D.

    Aside from her three adult children, three grandchildren and three grandpuppies, she enjoys the arts, great books, great films as well as spending as much time as possible with her grands.
