Dr. Lindsey Whitlow

Lindsey Whitlow joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in September 2019 as a part-time psychologist focused on providing individual therapy for college students and adults.

Lindsey was born in Auburn, AL, and raised between Auburn and Florence, AL. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Jackson State University. Her predoctoral internship was completed at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System where she received training on the Military Sexual Trauma, Behavioral Pain Management and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Clinical Team rotations.

She worked as a psychologist within the VA from 2012-2022, starting in Savannah, GA, prior to returning to Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System where she served as the Military Sexual Trauma Coordinator. In that role, Lindsey provided individual and group psychotherapy for survivors of sexual trauma. She has also worked in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric units, and a college counseling center. Lindsey joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. full-time in 2022.

Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends. Her hobbies include traveling, watching Auburn sports, cooking and spending time outdoors.
