What to Expect
When you call our office you will be greeted by one of our office administrative staff. They will gather some information from you including your name, date of birth, insurance information, and a brief description of your presenting concerns. They will ask if you have a preference for a provider and if so, your information will be given to that provider if they are accepting new clients. If you do not have a preference for a provider your information will be given to one of our providers who is accepting new clients and believes they would be a good fit for you and your presenting concerns. You will be contacted by the provider to schedule an intake appointment.
Once you have scheduled an appointment, you will receive an email from our office with paperwork including an intake packet, background information form, credit card form, and an electronic data communications form. Please complete these forms prior to your scheduled intake appointment.
Upon arrival at your intake appointment you will meet with your new provider. Typically intake sessions take 45-60 minutes. You will discuss your presenting concerns, mental health history, and other relevant background information with your provider. You may discuss goals for treatment with your provider as well as typical structure of an ongoing therapy session.
